Budget billing does not reduce your power bill, it allows you to pay a fixed monthly amount to budget your power bill. This amount is calculated by taking your total billing from the previous year and dividing it by 12 to get a monthly average. Any remaining balance on your account is divided by 12 and added to this average to determine your new monthly Budget Billing amount. This average is recalculated annually in October.

By filling out this form I acknowledge that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions
  • I have had a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive months of billing history at this service address.
  • I understand that my account must be at a $0 account balance to be eligible for Budget Billing.
  • I understand that every October my budget amount will be recalculated, and the actual account balance is also used in the calculation to reconcile the account at the same time.
  • I understand that if I move or add an additional service to my account, I will be removed from budget billing and any deferred balance remaining will be owed on the next billing date. (You are eligible for budget billing again once you have had service at the new location for a minimum of 12 consecutive months)
  • I understand that I may discontinue Budget Billing at any time and any remaining balance will be applied to my next bill and will be included in the total amount due.
  • I understand that Budget Billing equalizes my usage throughout the year to make my monthly payments more manageable rather than fluctuating with the seasonal weather.
