- Solar systems that have a net export of energy will be allowed to be banked and used month to month as unused credits.
- At the end of the annualized billing period (March 31st), the value of remaining unused credits shall be granted to low-income HEAT assistance programs.
- The per kWh credit for exported energy will transition from retail to wholesale power costs between 2021 until 2026. The current credit for 2025 is $0.0343 p/kWh.
- Calculations assume a best-case scenario of retail rate to the 2025 credit on excess energy produced.
